It´s very nice to fly over Las Vegas witht its buildings and hotels

To install steam edition unzip ne.zip file and copy into the folder

Many thanks to Kenventions for his updated light script and rodeo´s tutorial!

  • Version 1.0.0

  • Awesome job on this!

  • Thank you rivajes, very much appreciated!

  • Thanks for the lights rivajes!

I have a question though: Why can't I place this in my normal custom addon scenery folder?

It does work correctly if I use the exact path in your description.

For example, my custom addon folder is:

    D:\fs2_extra\

    So I tried:

    D:\fs2_extra\scenery\places\ne\Autogen_LasVegas

    D:\fs2_extra\scenery\places\Autogen_LasVegas

Edit: Los Angles behaves the same way.

    • if you have dvd version you will have to find out addons folder

      could it be My Documents/AeroflyFS2/addons/scenery/usa/places/ne

let me know if it was good

    • Thanks for replying rivajes. I do have the Steam version.

I just use a custom addons folder using this method ("extra_user_folder"):

      https://www.aerofly.com/commun…-addon-folder-to-d-drive/

For some reason this Las Vegas addon does not appear in the game when placed in my folder where all others just like it reside. Your files and folder structure looks the same as many of the others.

Could there be a relative path for dependent resource embedded in this addon which causes it to not work in another folder location?

    • Could it be this format is only supported by the latest version of AFS 2

      Jesus

    • If I copy the files to the steam folder you say:

      C:/program files(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/Aerofly FS 2 Flight Simulator/addons/scenery/usa/places/ne

      It does work fine.

I just don't want to store addons on the same drive or folder as some are very large.

There appears to be something different with your files compared to others like Street Lights New York

      flight-sim.org/filebase/index.php?file/148/

    • Ok.
