It is suggested that the website be shut down.

  • I'm sorry to bother you, but I just saw your post on the forum. Yes, I fully support your decision and views, and it is indeed necessary to shut down the website! This is a very correct decision, and I support it wholeheartedly ✊. I don't know if you have noticed the new members who have joined the website in the past one or two months. Most of them come from the China region. Why is that? Why do so many members want to download the plugins on the website recently? I can give a simple explanation here.

Firstly, because the official IPACS has not warned ⚠️ or dealt with the companies that pirate their games, there are a lot of pirated Aerofly fs global games on the app stores in the China region. These players can download without paying the corresponding fees, and there are a lot of shameless players who have low quality and no character. This has also led them to form a distorted value concept, which is that I can get it for free, similar to the zero-cost purchase in the United States 😂.

Secondly, because it is a pirated game, most of the functions in the game cannot be used like the original game, such as purchasing global scenery. This has also led Chinese players to want to download plugins from your website so that they can use global scenery without having to pay, just like the original players. Word of mouth spreads far and wide, and more and more Chinese players have learned about your website, causing the number of members on the website to explode in the past two months. Where did they hear about your website? The Chinese Internet has provided them with great help. They spread through Chinese video websites such as China's TikTok and China's Bilibili. You can also search for these two video websites in your browser. They have formed a distorted value concept. They believe that they do not need to respect the labor results of other members, do not need to support the labor results of the game manufacturers, and they only care about their own interests, which is the most crucial ❗❗❗. They only care about having fun themselves, and never consider the feelings of others ❗❗❗. I don't know if you have such a feeling.

Why suggest shutting down the website? It is to prevent such things from happening again, to avoid these uncivilized Chinese players, and to let them go away ❗ Go away as far as possible ❗ Don't let these Chinese players come in and disgust others, disgust other members anymore ❗ Don't let them freeload on anything on the website and deprive others of their labor results anymore ❗ Based on the above content, I think it will be your best choice to permanently shut down the website. Thank you ❗

  • Preliminary remark:

I think it's good if we all write in English. I also think it's good if we use translation programs to help. But when translating translation programs several times, something can sometimes come out that was never meant that way. Therefore, I ask everyone for patience if something from my following text seems to be misleading - thank you.:)

I think we must not put anyone under any negative general suspicion for the time being. That's why I think it's nice that there is worldwide interest in Flight-sim.org.

Flight-Sim.org is a private initiative that lives from give and take. So if you take something (download), you should also give something (financially or/and upload something).

Unfortunately, it is becoming more and more clear that too many people only want to download as much as possible without doing anything of their own (!) to give. This is a general observation, which I personally find very unfortunate. I think we humans as a community are dependent on a balanced give and take, no matter where we live.

Many years ago I was happy that other people here offer great things for the FS, FS 2 and FS 4 and therefore I also contributed accordingly. Therefore, I also like to support higgy as an admin, write in the FAQ and upload content.

I will continue to program additions for airplanes and sceneries in the future. And I would like to make all this available to a community in the future - but only to those who appreciate it and follow the "give and take" mode.

In general, I find it sad that higgy will end his commitment at the end of the year, because the platform Flight-Sim.org has given me a lot in recent years.

    Tschüss, Michael

  • Yes, I agree with some of your points. We should encourage and support those members who have consistently adhered to the site's rules. ✊ We also want to thank everyone who has worked so hard from the beginning, whether it's the administrators, plugin developers, or even the founding members, for their outstanding contributions and remarkable achievements to Flght sim-org. 🙏👏👍 They've played a crucial role, and without them, the site wouldn't be what it is today.

As for those shameless Chinese players, I don't want to make any further comments. They're nothing more than a bunch of bandits, shameless scoundrels, and low-brow bastards who wantonly trample on and steal the hard work of the hardworking people. This group of Chinese players has never contributed anything to the site, and they're not even willing to put in a single effort. They're just trying to get free download access. It's completely ridiculous and ludicrous.❗❗ ❗It's all because of these Chinese players who disrupted the entire website's management and order, even to the point of shutting it down. They're practically destroying everything here. I can't tolerate their behavior anymore❗❗❗These dogs should just get lost as far away as possible. I don't want to see these Chinese players flocking to the website to download plugins anymore. It's hilarious❗❗❗

Finally, thank you for your continued outstanding contributions to the website. I personally want to express my gratitude. Thank you for your hard work 🙏🙏🙏

It's hard to disprove. Most Chinese players are like this, but we have been committed to making changes but it doesn't help. Just like YOLO's plug-ins, he used to upload the plug-ins to his group chat, but at the end of the day, some people stole and sold them. The only thing that hurt these players is our real AFROFLY plug-in makers

  • No, sir, I don't think so. There are still some excellent contributors in China, and Flyoverasia is a very good example. Their optimization plugins and so on are very excellent. OrangeDog's landscape plugin is also surprising, and YOLO's painting is also very excellent. Those people are just a few scum, they are the ones who make the environment worse. Don't care about them, Chinese players will also resist them. I believe the website can continue! Let everyone work hard to create a better environment, thank you

Yes, there are indeed some Chinese members on the site who abide by the rules and contribute to the site, and we want to thank them. As I mentioned above, we respect and tolerate all plugin developers. Creating plugins is not an easy task for them, and they have made tremendous contributions to the site. 👍👏 This is a rare and precious thing.❗

As I mentioned in the title, if there's no way to subdue these Chinese players, the site's future will become even more difficult. This concerns every member. I believe everyone should come up with a solution to this existing problem. Otherwise, the ultimate solution is to shut down the site permanently and no longer be open to Chinese players who don't abide by the rules.

Yes, I agree, but you are thinking too simply. On the contrary, the development of things is very bad. Maybe you are not very clear. In fact, I talked to the administrator of the website more than a month ago and reported the relevant problems, but the result is still of no avail. More than a month has passed, and the development of things has become more and more serious. I had anticipated such an outcome a long time ago. The question now is how the website will go next and where the future of the website lies. You must know that this is just a free public welfare website. Not everyone is obligated to serve you Chinese players. How will the website develop in the future, how will it be managed, and how can it become better? These are all issues worthy of our deep consideration. Thank you❗

As a Chinese AEROFLY video and plugin creator, I have tried multiple articles to make those so-called players sober up, but in the end, it was to no avail. We have tried to prevent it, but it is difficult to change

  • What's next for Flight-Sim.org? Honestly, I don't know at the moment.

I'll leave the topic "download content without any own return" out for now, because everywhere in this world there are people for me who stand out negatively - but in my experience, the vast majority of people are still positive, no matter where and how they live.

I think we are currently experiencing a strong change in the use of FS 4 and FS Global.

On the one hand, there are the people who like to flyi in all its facets as close to reality as possible. I am one of them. Here it is more about quality.

And on the other hand, there are more and more people who are less concerned with simulation than with playing, where new airfields, new airfields, new liveries are in demand very quickly.

Both can fit together, but both can also interfere. Actually, there should also be a middle ground.

For myself, I will stick to the simulation and am curious how it goes on. Hopefully FS 4 and FS Global will continue to be a simulation.
